Milal is an active international christian association that supports attention on disabled people. In Korean, the word ‘Milal’ means a Grain of Wheat. We provide disabled people, their families and caregivers with inclusive cultural opportunities. Everyone is welcome!
The word ‘Mial’ is originated from a Korean word ‘Grain of Wheat’ in the following Bible verse.
“Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.(John 12:24)”
Therefore, we consider ourselves as one of communities that follows Jesus. Our goal is to reach out people with disability and make them a part of our community and the kingdom of God.
Even before I met him, Jesus came to me through the blind and touched my heart in 1994. This changed my entire life into unimaginable and precious one. I am obligated to disabled people(Rome 1:14) to give the love that I received from God. Therefore, I have decided to give my whole life to Jesus in which I serve as a bridge-builder between people with and without disability.
